Heidi Engelhardt, a food science graduate student in CSU’s Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition, is conducting a survey as part of her master’s project and would appreciate your help in participating in and/or distributing a survey for home food preservers, bakers, and cooks across Colorado. The information will be used by Colorado State University Extension to update and/or create new high elevation resources and programs for consumers.
- Consumers living at higher elevations often encounter cooking and baking challenges due to differences in air pressure and environmental conditions. Researchers at Colorado State University are conducting a survey to assess consumer knowledge and food handling habits related to elevation. We are specifically looking for information from consumers living at elevations higher than 3000 feet.
- This survey should take 15 minutes or less to complete and your answers are anonymous. There are no known risks or benefits to participating in this survey.
- Participation is voluntary. Choosing to fill out the on-line survey implies consent. If you change your mind and decide not to participate, you may withdraw your consent at any time without consequence.
